Configuring Savings Passbooks

Configuration of Savings Passbooks

To get here, go to System\Configuration\Passbook printing\Configuration Savings Passbook. A screen will appear looking as follows:

• Printer used for passbook printing: From the drop down list select the printer, which will be used for printing the passbook. The printers in the drop down list will be those that are installed on your computer.
• Number of lines per page: Here you enter number of lines that your passbook will have on the page. By default the number of lines is 24.
• Number of lines reserved for header: Enter the appropriate number of lines that will be reserved for header. By default it is 4.

Note that Loan Performer comes with preset variables that can be included in your passbook and their default parameters.

• Print: You can include (exclude) the variable into the printing by clicking on the checkbox Print. If that checkbox is marked, the variable will be included and printed into client’s passbook.
• Position: You can also adjust the position of the variables according to the way your clients' passbooks are organized. Please note: The positions should not overlap.
• Width: You should always consider the width of the variables before setting their positions.
• Update: To update a particular variable, click on it in the table (highlighting it), do the necessary adjustments and click on Update button.

Click on the Save button to effect the settings or Close button to exit the menu. The Back or Next buttons will take you to the previous/next screen of System/Configuration respectively. You can also view/print the parameters of the configuration by clicking on the Print button.
